On the eve of the qualifying match for the World Cup the official partner of the national soccer team of Kazakhstan, Olimpbet approached us to create an announcement of the match.
Tasks:
- To present the new symbol of the team (mascot).
- To show the location of the match (the city of Astana).
Together with the representatives of Olimpbet we defined the main idea of the video and reflected it on the storyboard. The idea was to have a giant mascot running to the stadium to support our national team.
After agreeing on the footage, we immediately started shooting.
The original footage was shot in one shift and sent to post-production.
The team started tracking (a technology that allows you to track the movement of objects or points in space).
The mascot was given to us as a 2D illustration. We had to draw the object in 3D and sew our national team uniform on it. Then we stretched "bones" on the mascot to create anatomical movements.
After combining the scenes with our main character, we started compositing and color correction.
