TouchDesigner · Interactive & Real-time

Visuals that respond to what’s happening in real time

We create interactive graphics that change in response to movement, sound, camera input, color, sensors and other input data. For events, DJ sets, concerts, exhibitions, brand zones and digital activations.

What we create

The visual becomes part of the event and reacts in real time

With a conventional video, the viewer simply watches pre-rendered content. In an interactive installation, the image changes live during the event: the system receives input from a camera, microphone, tracker, sensor or another data source and instantly affects the graphics on an LED screen, projector or other digital surface.

We build these systems in TouchDesigner and adapt the visual language to the brand, stage design, music, screen format, venue architecture and the intended audience interaction.

Formats

Interactive visual formats we create

01

Camera Reactive Visuals

A camera detects a person, silhouette or movement in space, and the on-screen graphics respond: tracing contours, generating particles, distortions, digital trails or other visual interactions.

02

Audio-Reactive Visuals

Real-time visuals for DJ sets, concerts and presentations that react to music: volume, rhythm, BPM, bass, mid and high frequencies, or specific musical events.

03

Motion & Body Tracking

Body movement and gestures become a controller for the visual system. A participant can control particles, objects, color, typography and other elements without a physical interface.

04

Interactive LED & Projection

Interactive content for LED screens, stage screens, projectors, facades and spatial installations. The visual system is built around the geometry and technical parameters of the venue.

05

Generative Visuals

Generative graphics are created in real time instead of replaying the same video loop. The system can continuously create new compositions within a defined art direction.

06

Brand Interactive Installations

Branded digital activations for product launches, exhibition booths and events: brand graphics, product, logo, typography and interaction mechanics work as one visual system.

Interaction inputs

What can drive the visual

An interactive system can receive data from several sources at once and turn it into controllable visual parameters — from moving individual objects to changing an entire scene.

  • Sound: volume, BPM, bass / mid / high frequencies, beats and musical accents
  • Camera: movement, silhouette, human presence and position in frame
  • Gestures & body: hands, pose, direction of movement and distance
  • Sensors: distance, pressure, speed, position and other physical parameters
  • Controllers: MIDI, OSC and other external commands for live control
  • Data: counters, results, web data and other dynamic values

Real-time pipeline

How an interactive installation works

Input Camera / sound / sensor The system reads human movement, music or a physical signal.
Real-time engine TouchDesigner The data is processed and controls graphics, 3D, particles, effects and scenes.
Output LED / Projection / Screen The result is output to a screen or surface without pre-rendering.

Where it works

Interactive installations for events and spaces

01
Brand zones and promo activations
We create digital mechanics that turn a booth or screen into a point of interaction with the audience: a person approaches, moves or gestures — and the visual responds within the brand’s visual language.
02
DJ sets and concerts
Audio-reactive and generative visuals synchronize with music and can be controlled live during a performance, creating a live visual system instead of a playlist of pre-rendered videos.
03
Exhibitions and presentations
Interactive screens, projections and installations present a product, technology or idea through interaction, not just static content.
04
Festivals and stage design
Real-time content becomes part of the stage: it works with custom resolutions, multiple screens, projection surfaces and live control.
05
Immersive spaces
The visual environment changes based on people’s presence and behavior, turning the space into an interactive digital experience.

Built for the brand

Not a template visualizer, but a custom visual system

We go beyond the standard “graphics move to the music” effect. First, we define the objective, brand character and interaction scenario, then create the art direction, graphic elements, reactivity and technical pipeline for the specific event.

The system can integrate a logo, brand colors, product, 3D objects, typography, pre-produced CG graphics and other campaign assets. With Coper’s experience in CGI, VFX and real-time graphics, the visual layer can go far beyond typical event templates and match the quality of advertising content.

For agencies

Technical partner for event, BTL and advertising agencies

We can join at the idea, tender or approved-concept stage. We help define how to turn a creative idea into a working interactive mechanic, what cameras, sensors and screens are required, how to build the real-time pipeline and how to test the system before launch at the venue. We can work under NDA and in a white-label format.

Full-cycle production

How we work

Brief & venue
We study the brand objective, audience, event scenario, screens, space and available equipment.
Interaction concept
We define what drives the visual and what the participant should do: move, speak, dance, approach the screen or interact with a sensor.
Art direction
We create the visual language, test scenes and graphic behavior around the brand identity and campaign content.
TouchDesigner development
We build the real-time system and configure reactivity, tracking, input signals, control and image output.
Testing & launch
We test performance, resolution, latency and stability, then adapt the system to the venue.

TouchDesigner production

Interactive installation development in TouchDesigner

TouchDesigner makes it possible to create interactive visual systems and generative graphics in real time. This format is used when pre-rendered video is not enough: at events, concerts, DJ sets, exhibitions, presentations, festivals and branded digital zones.

A TouchDesigner interactive installation can react to sound, human movement, camera input, gestures, sensors, MIDI/OSC commands and other data. The result is output to an LED screen, projector or another digital surface and changes live during the event.

Coper develops interactive visuals around the brand objective: from concept and art direction to building the real-time system, equipment integration and launch preparation. We can work as an independent studio or as a technical partner for an event or advertising agency.

FAQ

FAQ

What is a TouchDesigner interactive installation?

It is a real-time visual system where graphics change in response to input data: sound, movement, camera input, gestures, sensors or control commands. Unlike conventional video, the result is generated live during the event.

Can you create visuals that react to music?

Yes. Graphic parameters can be linked to volume, rhythm, BPM, frequency ranges and specific musical events. This format works well for DJ sets, concerts, clubs and festival stages.

Can the visual react to a person through a camera?

Yes. A camera or tracking system can detect a person’s presence, position, silhouette and movement, then use that data to control the visual in real time.

Can an interactive visual be branded?

Yes. We create a visual language for a specific brand and can integrate logos, product, brand colors, 3D objects, typography and campaign elements.

What screens can TouchDesigner output to?

The system can be used with LED screens, projectors, stage screens and other digital surfaces. The exact configuration depends on resolution, venue format and the event’s technical setup.

Do you work with event and advertising agencies?

Yes. Coper can join as a technical partner, support the tender stage, design the interaction mechanics, plan the technical implementation and work under NDA or in a white-label format.

How much does an interactive installation cost?

Pricing is calculated for each project and depends on the complexity of the visual, tracking, number of screens, equipment, venue format and whether an on-site team is required. After a short brief, we can recommend the right interaction mechanic and estimate production.
